Combining the traditional digital display with modern mechanical setup, designer Carl Allen has developed an interesting wristwatch that uses the font in an altogether different way. Entitled the “Mechanized Digital Watch,” the wristwatch concept drops a corresponding group of panels underneath its surface to create a number to indicate the time in digits. The sidewalls of each digit emit light as soon as you press the button on the side of the watch. Available in a number of colors, the Mechanized Digital Watch gives a new dimension to digital displays.
