Conceived by British designer Robert Williams, the “Forfreedom” is an expanding living unit designed with sustainability in mind. Intended towards professional urban couple looking for a short break or outing, the modular caravan features an aerodynamically planned flowing form to ensure stability and fuel efficiency. Featuring the flexible yet modern interior with a very simple finish that can easily be adapted to match the owner’s style and taste, the Forfreedom also contains a larger seating area and full size double bed that users can personalize with ease. The walls of the caravan are made in sandwiched fiberglass with closed cell insulation for efficient heating.
The modular caravan comes with discrete storage solutions, including large rear storage which can also be accessed from outside for convenience during transport. This compact living unit opens up with the help of a sliding chassis and pivot on the one side to increase the size of the living space, while a private lounge area is created using an adjustable canopy that allows panoramic view of the surroundings.

I’d suggest something like this also have an electric driveline, with regen breaking and possibly some solar power assist. The first thing I thought when I saw it was "There’s no way that dinky little car’s hauling that trailer around!" With all the new tech spawned by hybrid vehicle R&D, something like that should be reasonably possible. Then you can have your 100HP (or 75KW) small car and your big honkin’ caravan as well.
